Welcome to Marks and Patents, Inc.

As an biomedical engineer, I vowed that I would always work to develop products that would help enhance the lives of other people. I created many interesting products that became commercially viable. I learned the hard way what it took to undergo the patent process and then reaped the benefits of selling my products to the delight of many very happy customers.

Along the way, I was recognized for my abilities to organize, plan and document techniques for many products, and became highly specialized in creating installation manuals, instructional manuals and self-help troubleshooting guides. I learned the ropes and simply tried my best to document what I discovered, so others could easily follow along and match many of my accomplishments.

At one point in my career, I was appointed with the task of organizing my employer’s treasure trove of intellectual property. I worked with a team of lawyers to find avenues for filing many company patents that gave my employer the opportunity to eventually sell their company, profiting on the many patents we had filed over the years. Additionally, I was tasked with building the company’s brands. We used many forms of intellectual property to increase the company’s global footprint, and used trademarks, copyrights and domain names to protect and defend the company against those who sought to exploit the company brands. Eventually the company was sold, and many of the employees went their separate ways, however they always remembered how strongly I was able to build the company brand and manage the company’s vital intellectual property assets. It has been gratifying to provide assistance to others over the years, and although I have many other projects of my own, I have always welcomed the opportunities to assist the many people that have benefitted from my talents.
